Principal's Corner

Dear Students, Parents/Guardians:

I am looking forward to another exciting and successful school year. The faculty and staff at Long Elementary are dedicated to providing each student with a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of your child’s life. We look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year.

Our student handbook is a wealth of good information regarding school policies and procedures. When you receive your student handbook, I ask that you read it and review the information with your child. After reading it, please sign and return the paperwork located in the back of the handbook by the date specified by your child’s teacher.  Please keep your copy of the handbook for reference throughout the year.  If you have questions regarding its contents, please contact me, your child’s teacher, or the office staff.

We are proud of our school and community and look forward to working with our parents and other stakeholders to provide a positive educational experience for every student.  We want to encourage parents to be active in their child’s education and to please consider becoming a member of our Parent-Teacher Organization.  Again, I look forward to working with you and please do not hesitate to contact me.
