Hey! My name is Katie Barrentine and I am a 3rd grade teacher! This will be my second year here at LES, but 8th year teaching. I have previously taught in the Ozark City School system and one year at Midland City Elementary before joining the Rebel family. My husband, Daniel, is the principal at G. W. Long High School. We have one son, Jack who will be in third grade this year! We also have two dogs and one cat that are our "furry" children!!
I received my undergraduate degree from Troy University in Graphic Design/Photography. I then went on to receive my Alternative Masters Degree in Education from the University of Alabama! Go Troy and Roll Tide!!!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, our animals, and going to the lake; although, most of our time is spent at the ballfield!!! Daniel, myself and Jack love it here and we love being a part of the Rebel family!
